Type of a scam Government Grant

I received a friend request from a pastor that married my wife and I on Facebook. So I thought nothing of it and accepted, then later I received a friend request on Facebook messenger so I accepted thinking it was the pastor across from where I live. Then I started getting messages of Facebook messenger from the pastor about him having great news, I noticed the English was off a bit but just thought he might not be a good tipper. He told me that the great news was he had a friend that worked for FedEx that knew someone from International Monetary Fund on the board and they could help me out with a grant like they did for him. The Pastor ? gave me this number to contact (502-514-9745) but he said they probably wouldn’t answer the phone but to call them and they would get back to me in text. So I called the number and got a response back in text from that number saying "How May I Help You Please, How Did You Get Our Official Personal Digit" I responded back saying "I have a friend the Pastor that knows a friend a person with the last name of Mishlar at FedEx, he said I might be able to get a Federal Grand to help me out. He sent me the link for a representative from IFC with the last name of Ms. Duncan as well and he gave me this number to contact you. They the scammer then said Its Okay, Your Full Name Please. I was dumb enough to give it to them thinking this was legit thinking the pastor gave me the OK. Then they said "Kindly Wait For Some Minutes While Our Verification Team confirm your name to be among the random selected winners of the International Monetary Fund Commission(IMFC) from the database. They asked, "You There Please?" I said yes, they said "I will be asking you the information to help you open a file on our system. I said OK, they said "Kindly fill out the necessary questions to open a file for you on our system, all information are secured for the purpose of application" RIGHT ! These are the questions they asked a response back from me. "Full Name, Mother Name, Full Home Address, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Email, Married/Single, Cash or Transfer, Nationality, Occupation, Income Rate, Motive, Do You Want In Dollar or Pounds What And What would You Use It For ?" Tried calling them at this point and they said "AM SORRY NELSON CANT ATTEND TO YOUR CALL JUST A TEXT PLEASE" then they said "YOU ARE TO FILL THAT CORRECTLY WHILE WE OPEN A FILE FOR YOUR GRANT PROCESS" next they said "WE DID THIS JUST TO STOP THOSE PEOPLES WHO ARE TRYING TO GET A WINNING MONEY TWICE" then they said "ALL YOUR INFORMATION IS SAFE AND SECURE WITH US. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITH YOUR CLAIM INFORMATION IF YOU ARE ABLE TO GET IT." everything they said was in caps, I told them ok. Then I received a response back saying "CONGRATULTION!!!! NAME ………….. GOT YOUR FULL DETAILS AND YOUR INFORMATION HAS BEEN PROGRAM IN OUR DATABASE NOW THEN YOUR TICKET NUMBER IS P40.2IN with multiple numbers and a S/N with multiple numbers "it cause you will be ask to provide it before the FedEx can deliver the package to you now the [FEDEX] are ready to bring your package money to your home address in 24hours so let us know if your are ready? Still There? I said yes, they said "YOU NEED TO HAVE THAT WRITTEN DOWN AND KEEP SAFE" I told them I had it written down, the English in quotes was exactly as they said it. Next they said "WE ONLY WANT TO HELP 90 PEOPLE THROUGH THE FEDEX EDWARD MISHLAR AND YOU WILL BE ARE ON NUMBER 75.YOU ARE GETTING THE MONEY WITH A LETTER OF APPROVAL.HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR OR DO YOU WANT ME SEND YOU THE LIST OF MONEY WE GIVE OUT TO PEOPLE SO YOU CAN JUST PICK THE ONE YOU CAN AFFORD THE DELIVERY FEE" "STILL THERE" I said yes, then they asked "DID YOU NEED THE LIST TO CHOOSE WISELY CAUSE YOU WONT BE ELIGIBLE TO GET THIS AFTER THIS ONCE" I said yes, I asked them what the delivery fee was? no response, they sent me the list via text and it was in various ranges "HERE IS THE BREAKDOWN OF THE GRANT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE AND PAY FOR THE CLEARANCE AND DELIVERY FEES.THIS IS THE ENABLE PROPER DELIVERING OF YOUR GRAND.

YOU PAY $1000 AND GET $15,000

YOU PAY $2000 AND GET $30,000

all the way up to

YOU CAN ALSO PA $150,000 AND GET $30,000,000

‘LET US KNOW OF THE FUND YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR NOW….YOU CAN ONLY APPLY FOR THIS GRANT ONCE IN A LIFETIME." I told the I would get back to them in a few minutes, I need to look at this. At this point it seemed ridiculous and very suspicious. I didn’t have the pastors cell number so I went across the street to talk to him, at that point he said his Facebook Messenger account had been hacked so he shut it down immediately. I then knew this hacker was scamming me and I said a few choice word to the scammer and let them know I would be contacting the FBI to report them, unfortunately they did get my information and might be able to open accounts with my information but they didn’t get any money from me. Now I have to change all my passwords and go through the hassle of worrying about fraud or identity theft. Beware anyone of your friends in your Facebook or messenger account could have been hacked, I recently got a friend request from the pastor so I thought it was legit. Not so. Hope this helps someone
