Type of a scam Government Grant

I received a messenger message from an old friend of mine that read "Hello..How are you doing today?" So I replied. She then begins telling me that she had just won and received a total of $200,000 in grant money from IMF. She then gave me a contact number (410) 834-8916 belonging to "agent Lindsey Preston" to apply for the "win money program." She told me to do it immediately, keep it a secret, and to let her know if I had contacted her so she could help me out with guidelines. When I contacted Lindsey, she asked for personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, occupation, monthly income, next of kin, city, zip code and DL number. Almost immediately she begins telling me that I qualified and could choose any amount and I would only have to pay for delivery fees. For example, $50,000 I pay $750, $100,000 I pay $1000. and so on. After I hung up, I get a text from a UPS delivery person by the name John Coleman, telephone (410) 650-5763 letting me know that a certificate would be issued at point of paying Agent Lindsey. I knew this was a scam and delayed the "fake" payoff so I could report this. I was sent several other texts by both of them pressuring me to pay. They even went as far as sending me an image of a "fake" Feferal Government Grant Agency Certificate of Ownership in the amount of $100,000.
