Type of a scam Tech Support
I looked for a phone number for Time Warner Spectrum for help with my phone line because it was down. A man with an Indian accent answered. I gave him control of my computer. He said for $300 he would solve the problem; drivers down due to an infection that started in January. He said I had a thousand errors. I was on the phone with him for 20 minutes. I told him I don’t have authorization to do this, my husband is out of town. He gave me his number to call back 833-451-4720, icustomerservice.net.
