Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received an email from IYogi saying I owed them $489.99 for services I had purchased. When I called them at the number listed (530 385 8662 they claimed they had to access my computer to clear the billing error. After elaborate information gathering they claimed to send a credit to my bank account to cover the amount they would withdraw from my account for the supposed services resulting in a net 0 transaction. Using their technology they generated a fake bank account web page showing a "deposit" of $4,499. I told them that was an error. In their "correcting the error" they said I should go to Best Buy and arrange for a purchase that would cover the error. Realizing I was on the verge of being swindled I told them they were scammers, hung up, and cleared my computer screen. I later checked my bank account and no activity related to the scam had occurred thus far.
