Type of a scam Tax Collection
The person on the line claimed to be Officer Johns from the HR Irs. They stated that there was a federal investigation going on and my name came up. I told them they were full of it and that it was scam. The person (Asian speaking) started swearing at me and calling me names. I then called our local 911 dispatcher. The dispatcher gave me the number for the irs scam hotline. I was then directed to do a complaint online. I did so. I just want others aware that the IRS will NEVER call you. You will get legal documentation in the mail. Thank you
