We also bought from Hiromi Shiba Inu. We tried to buy “Buster” and when we emailed they asked for information about our family to see if we would be fit owners. They responded with pictures and videos of the puppy and even pictures of the parents. He then asked us to sign two forms with our signatures and make the $700 deposit. We did all of this and he immediately stopped responding. After searching for the breeder on Facebook we saw many other people who also got scammed out of up to $1400. We filed a claim with the Business Bureau. We hope there is a way to find these people They provided a fake address in Atlanta Georgia as well as a fake number and only corresponded over email.

Type of a scam Other

I found their website through an internet search for shiba inu puppies. Their website is very professional for this type of business. They sent me a transfer of ownership and a contract to sign which was signed by them as well. I spoke to a man on the phone who gave me a lot of credible information on his breeding program and stated he has bred these dogs for 18 years with his wife. I felt confident that he was professional and knowledgeable. After a week of email and text back and forth as well as the phone call, we decided to move forward with the purchase. I transferred the funds for two puppies $1300 via Zelle transfer at my bank. I was assured that I would be contacted by the shipping agent with confirmation of airline and arrival time. After that all was silent. He gave me his name a Kelley Phila and an address of 35 Crestwood Dr in Savannah GA. He sent me several photos and a video of the two puppies I intended to purchase.
