Type of a scam Employment
Sent a cashiers check for $2455.25 to deposit in my check account. Told to let them know when I did that, they would “release funds” then I would keep $200 for wages. Then they would text me how much to withdraw and give me a shopping list at Walmart. I was supposed to write a review of my experience.
I am sure this is a scam, but I checked with the BBB for both Safe Hire and On Point CU. The service doesn’t list the scam, but I am sure not going to deposit the check.
