Type of a scam Debt Collections

Highland Holdings debt collectors (NCO) have been calling me on my cell phone and my place of employment. I have never heard of these people in my life! But they do have all my personal information which isn’t hard to get these days with technology but I am definitely baffled. I have never been a victim of identity theft.They claim I took out a loan in 2012 and failed to repay them! An online pay day loan at that. I find that hard to believe after 4 years you decide to come after me? Then I never would have took out a loan and not pay them back. They have my account information. They would have took the money out of the account if I failed to pay after a certain period of time. Not 4 years all of a sudden coming out of nowhere. Again, I have never heard of these people. I have never received any letters nor phone calls until this year, 2016. I believe these people are scams and looking for someone to give in and pay them because of their threatening tactics! I just want to report them and make anyone else aware! I did let them know that I would be reporting them to BBB so we will see if they call back!
