Type of a scam Government Grant

They created a fake Instagram page of a person I knew. They then contacted me and had a normal conversation with me. They asked if I had been contacted by the federal program for free grant money. They told me to text a number, and ask for an application. They then send you a link to your phone. The link goes to a website and it looks like a real page. You fill out the application, then someone texts back and say you got approved. They never asked for my social or anything, but I don’t think I gave them time to. When I realized it probably was a scheme I blocked the number and the IG account.
