I also purchased Blu. He’s becoming rich off of one dog. I did file a complaint with the FBI for internet scams. Whatever good that will do. Also lost 825$$.

We were going to get Blu too! They sent us 3 additional pics. Luckily we found out it was a scam before we sent any info.

Total money lost $825

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I had been in contact with Hallmark Aussies for a week. I signed a contract and paid $825 through the Zelle app. I then found out that he was still selling the puppy that I had purchased to other people. My mother had inquired about the same puppy because she thought I would like him (she didn’t know that I had purchased him) and he responded to her saying that the puppy was still available. When confronted he never responded again. He won’t answer emails or phone calls. He has done this to multiple people. So I have lost $825 and have no puppy.

My daughter paid $845 ($730 plus airfare) and the dog was still on the site as available. I emailed Jeff, the owner, and he said the dog was still available. My daughter paid through Zelle per the contract and has now been ghosted

Definitely a scam. Insisted on payment via Zelle, produced what appeared to be a legitimate sales contract, provided shipping info. The pet shipping company seemed legitimate (at first) and provided tracking numbers, addresses, phone numbers, etc. Then the shipping company contacts you and asks for an addition $980 “for insurance purposes”. Again, only payable through Zelle. They got me for the price of the dog (and refuse to refund because it’s a scam) but didn’t get me for the shipping insurance. In the end, I’m out $730 and no dog.

Website showed some really nice pups . Though every “ real” breeders show pics of parents , pics of past litters, and talk of upcoming litters. They say on their website you should obtain a “ bulldog” vet ! WHAT? There is no physical address of his place (No t even on there contract). No names on website, says (On phone)he’s in Springfield MA , could not find anybody or business by the name he gave me in Springfield or immediate area . Only does direct bank transfers (Zelle , with no fraud protection) . Has someone fly with your dog across the country for free . When the dogs are half the price of current prices ( it would cost them more than they are getting for the pups) . A SCAM ? What do you think ?

Total scam. The bulldogs doesn’t even make sense. Those dogs would’ve been LONG gone because they were so beautiful.

Naomi – May 30, 2020

That was the red flag for us too! You can tell the person doesn’t either know good English or they copied and pasted.

After more research and email and text exchanges the merchant became very defensive about details of his operation and demanded money before product was shipped

Website claims to have puppies for sale. When we contacted about a puppy, asked money to be sent via cash app and cash app was in another person’s name. When we asked her to send a picture of the puppy with a piece of paper with the date on it as well as provide the AKC membership we never heard back.

Reached out to the site to inquire about an Aussie dog. Asked if I could call them. Seand emailed, said to give him my personal in. I refused. Asked for references and was told they can’t do that. I expressed that I felt it was a scam. Seand emailed back and told me "good luck."
