Type of a scam Nigerian/Foreign Money Exchange

Just last week we reported a phone spoof scam using our business telephone number to spoof calls to appear to come from our business (Grant Insurance) offering loan assistance and wanting people to wire money to them, and now we have been made aware of a Facebook messaging scam with our business being shown as the messenger, and our mobile app as being shown as the website, asking people to wire money to Nigeria.

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

We have been made aware that a telemarketer is spoofing their phone number to appear that it was coming from our business phone number:

We got a call from a woman that received a phone call from one of our direct lines (419-596-2031). On her caller ID, it said it was Grant Insurance so she answered. It was not us. It was someone offering a way to lower student loan debt. We told her that would have nothing to do with us and whoever called her had spoofed our # but were not really calling from our #.
