While on a trusted financial website i received a request for a survey on the financial institution I was on. After the survey I was afforded a thank you gift of a few items, including testosterone, a watch and a couple of other items. I chose the watch and paid $5.99 for shipping and handling. The watch came and was of extremely low quality. it was worth about $6 but I was okay with that. However, without my knowledge, I was signed up for a watch a month. I received 2 watches before I realized what was happening. I finally found a phone number and called the business. After paying $200 for the two watches they would only allow a $35 credit if I returned the watches. However there would be a $24 restocking fee. They did offer a $40 credit to cancel the watch a month, which I took as I had little choice. As a result, I ended up paying $160 for two $6 watches. This was a scam or at the very least definitely deceptive marketing practice. Nowhere in the offer did it say anything about signing up for a watch a month. I never received any thing saying I signed up for a watch a month. Interestingly enough they used two different merchant names to charge me. They were "goldgainertesto.com" and "buyspectrumhealthtesto" at 888-834-7068. both the same company with different phone numbers. This scam needs to be shut down.
