Goffman and Moore law office

Just received a call from the number 877-808-4097 by a woman named Lindsey Meyers from the law firm Goffman and Moore. She claimed there was a case against me to garnish my wages and said there would be a courier dispatched to my old address and if I wasn’t there be sent to my job. I’m currently unemployed so of course I’m freaking out. Luckily I googled the phone number and looked them up on BBB and they aren’t accredited. Looks to be a scam. I looked up my case number as well and it doesn’t exist.

Got a message on my v/m from a Lynn stating that she’s calling on behalf of the Los Angeles County Processing Unit and they received a notice from attorneys Goffman and Moore firm regarding wage and garnishment scheduled to be filed against me on Monday at which time paperwork would be dispatched to my employer or an address I lived at 10 years ago unless I resolve with the filing party and gave Hoffman and More ph # and a case #.

Type of a scam Debt Collections

Called and threatened to file a lien or judgement againt me and serve papers to my parents address which is in another state and a house i have never lived. Gave me a fake case number, which I know because I called the court in the county they said it was and found there is no such case at all. These people are an absolute scam that a small amount of research with reveal.
