A colleague of mine reached out to my daughter on LinkedIn saying,

Hello,Would you like to get paid weekly for reviewing and evaluating stores and so on? The Global Test Survey is out looking for a qualified individual to assess a store, give a short report on customer service or comfort on any assignment given in your area. You can make as much as $2000 doing this in a month. Each task goes for $400.Click the link below to join the team.https://bit.ly/3066genBest regards,Trea Reedy

I didn’t think anything of it and we both applied. We both applied and received an email saying our application had been approved.. We both received Cashier’s Checks from Family Security Credit Union for $2,950.52 along with detailed instructions on what to do. We were to be secret shoppers and go to 2 different retailers and purchase 5 $500 Nike gift cards. After that, send photos of the gift cards to the phone number that we had been in constant communication with. My daughter’s check hadn’t cleared yet, but she did mobile banking so I didn’t think about it. I physically went into my Credit Union on 1/31. The check cleared on 2/5 and I received cash from the credit union. I then went and purchased the gift cards as told and sent photos of the back of the gift cards.Today, 2/6 my credit union returned the check to me and said the check wasn’t good. Please help me as I am a 73 year old man who has just been scammed of $2,950.
