Type of a scam Debt Collections

Mr, Thomas Collins from Global Solutions Group Collection Agency called me and said he was calling in regards to my past due account with Check-n-Go and that he was giving me an opportunity to resolve my debt. he said he could reduce my debt amount of $701.00 to $450.00 dollars and keep it from going into court. because I wanted to pay Check-n-Go I agreed to have the amount taken from m banking account using my Debit Card. the payments were divided into two payments of $225.00 dollars and scheduled to come out on June 19th 2019 and July 10th 2019. he told me that once the payments were received that I would receive an email and a letter in the mail stating that my debt was cancelled. after a week I called and the number was Disconnected and the numbers on my online banking were numbers that you could not speak to anyone. i was scammed out of $450.00 dollars. please help me stop these type of people that are obviously heartless and lack compassion.
