my girlfriend got a text from who she thought was her friend. Had Facebook pic. Anyway she talked My girlfriend into checking out Global Grant Makers. Well like all the others she was scammed out of $3055.00 Going to the police in a few days doubt anything can be done.

The message was sent facebook messenger from a “Friend” and it went on from there.

I didn’t realize at first that the scammer copied my good friends messager name and photo. The only difference was that it wasn’t linked to Facebook. She chatted with me like a friend then sent me this…

“ I will soon pay you a visit….I’m good and extremely happy with life. I’m curious if you’ve heard about the global grant makers?”

Then continued with this.

“What I’m telling you It’s a nonprofit organization that operates independently. They support individuals and businesses for positive changes and help them fulfill their goals. The application process was very smooth and eligible. It has specific eligibility requirements. I applied for personal funding and I received $150,000.00 when I applied, It’s free and non-refundable funds. In fact people are being approved for a larger amount, I thought I would see if you’ve applied.”

That’s when I thought it doesn’t sound like my friend so I called and she confirmed it. Then I saw that I had her name and pic twice on my messenger. She kept bugging me Asking if I applied telling me to go to web site (which didn’t work) and their page. I googled it and there is a company named this. She then gave me a phone number and I just kept saying the web site and number didn’t work. She gave me another number (this had been going on and off for months). Out of curiosity I tried the number, no answer but they text me back immediately wanting to start the application process and the questions started. I asked questions about how do I know it’s not a scam, can you call me? Which they said was against their policy. Then they said “ Kindly, let’s cancel your grant if you’re no longer interested”. Aw come on, I am finding this all very interesting. From how you guys hacked my friends Facebook and pretended to be her messaging me and your bad grammar here. What country are you actually in?
