Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Gladstone Survey Inc sent me a check in the mail with a letter wanting me to mystery shop at Walmart. It stated that I needed to deposit the check straight into my checking account, buy $2000 worth of gift cards, and text them a picture of the gift cards with the numbers showing (scratched off). They only communicate through text and their grammar is a bit off. The phone number they used is 415-854-0849.
