Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I received several voice mail messages from GE CAPITAL BANK, so I called them back. I was told I was approved for a $5000 loan. But, my credit score was a bit lower than their expected score. So, they would pay off my Capital One card for me, to "boost" my credit score. Then, they would deposit the loan into my account. They took my bank info and I was skeptical because it sounded to good to be true. So, she was reluctant to further the conversation, after hearing my distrust. She advised me to look up the website and call them back, if I was interested. After reading a similar story I am not. People are swindled out of money and the loan checks were stopped or just fraudulent, or unavailable at Western Union. I read enough!
