Type of a scam Employment
A friend of mine reached out me on Linkedin with a mystery shopper job opportunity. My friend later told me that her account was hacked and she never sent me that. The representative mailed me a check of 2895 dollars with a set of instructions. Which included me getting gift cards from the apple store and sending it back to them with a filled questionnaire. I was skeptical because there were a whole bunch of grammatical errors in the questionnaire.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
hisA known contact through Linked In posted an ad for Secret Shoppers and up to $375 per visit. Post listed Future Marketing Insights and Michael Miller as a contact.
I contacted "Michael Miller" through email and provided my email and phone #. When I emailed my contact asking about the business he replied it’s a scam and "Michael Miller" had hacked into his Linked In Account. I then texted "Michael Miller" I would be reporting him to the ScamPulse.com. He did not respond, and a few days later received a text that I would receive my secret shopper assignments in the mail. A week later a secret shopper form was sent with two cashiers checks that were fake.
