I was approached at my home this evening around 6:25pm by a woman and a man wearing logo’d shirts with, name badges, and clipboards. I don’t recall the name on their shirts, it started with F might have been FrontPoint. Before stopping they drove past a couple of times in a white Prius, Utah plates X235X. When they stopped, they didn’t stop directly in front of my home, but down the road a ways and they sat in their car for a couple minutes. When they approached my door the man went over to my security system provider sign, then came to the door. They said I had been with Vivint for 6 years and they could beat that price. They asked me if my name was such and such. I wouldn’t tell them anything about my name or my security provider. They insisted on coming inside. I asked them for a brochure. They said they didn’t have any and they wanted to come in and sit down with me. I said I was busy, they said they’d call me so they could come back (hint: I didn’t give them my phone number). When I said no, they left and flipped me off as they were walking away. As they drove away they both flipped me off. I’m concerned that this was a scam intended to get inside my home and see my security system. I have security videos of them.
