Well, I found this website called "Freelancer.com"… Unfortunately the website took money out of my pay that I received by a management company on that website for freelancing services that I provided for them… I was originally supposed to be getting $155 and instead I ended up with only $12.94.. The website claims it charged me a "142.06 project commission fee." This is not fair, they didn’t need to take about 90% of my pay out of my pay I was supposed to get. This website is a complete SCAM!

Freelancer.com is a place where you sing up to do jobs for business like assist them doing jobs you have to sigh up through pay-pal so you can get paid.

They advertise a free trial of their site. When you sign up they ask you to link your paypal account so that they can pay you for the work and projects you do through their site. They don’t warn you about your free trial ending and automatically charge your account for a membership fee of their choosing. They claim that they do not have to send you a bill, invoice or warning of being billed because, "This billing agreement was created when you linked a payment method to your http://Freelancer.com account."

I never received a billing agreement and they refused to show me a billing agreement when I asked to see it. Their excuse being that the linking of a payment method is an implicit billing agreement, which it is not. When you tell them how unethical it is not warning someone that their free trial was ending and that they were going to bill your account, they basically shrug and say ‘whatever, this is how we do it.’

Turns out they have been scamming people since they started. This site should be shut down for being thieves. They prey on the desperate and poor trying to make money. I’ve asked them to delete my account because it seems near impossible for me to do it on my own. They dodge the request every time. When they found out that I had filed a billing dispute with Paypal, they told me they could only help me if I rescind my dispute with Paypal. When I asked them if they would refund me if I withrew my Paypal complaint, they dodged the question again.
