I put in a request for more information on a local med spa that was for sale on BizBuySell. Someone from the company, "Fortune Management Systems" called me. They said the business I was looking for was sold however they had another "turn key" opportunity. They sent me emails with materail to review. Then they called me and discussed this over the phone They had 5 star reviews on a few websites including yelp. They even suggested certain areas to open the business in and told me that other "clients" they had were doing extremely well. They informed me about their product, a 4 in 1 machine, that would be able to do multiple treatments for a medical spa. They told me that they had people that purchased the product and the vast majority was doing very well. I asked if I could speak to a few of these clients. They arranged a phone call with someone who told me she was doing amazingly well. I asked for the name of the med spa. Upon checking on it further, the reviews mentioned nothing about the machine that she claimed to have or the services the machine claimed to perform. I went on the website and it had a very different menu of services than what the person who "owned" this medical spa had. This is when I began to become suspicious and I went on to find out that this company was a complete fraud. They operated under a different name before: Tristar Aesthetic Technologies. This company is now Fortune Management Systems. If you google Tristar Aesthetic Technologies, you will see multiple court cases and complaints. I am lucky that I was able to find out and not invest my money but I want others to know the scam these guys are pulling off. The machines do not work from other reviewers of the older company. They advertise that this product was seen on TV on multiple TV shows which is completely false adverstising. They misrepresent the number of successful clients they have and even have a fake "owner" call you. I don’t know how any of this is legal. There should be some legal repurcussions for what they are doing to people. This is fraud, plain and simple.
