On Saturday I have found an adorable puppy on the website https://www.shinypoodlepuppyhome.com/petmart. Since I’ve been looking into getting a puppy I’ve contacted the website trough their email [email protected] They have replied in the next few hours, saying that they have been looking for the perfect person to adopt their puppy since this is their last breed. I sent them an email describing myself, they replied saying that I’m the perfect match and would love to give him to me. Due to the fact that they live in Washington which is 15h away from where I live they said they could arrange for the puppy to be sent to me and arrive the same day by the company https://www.flyanimalscourrier.com/.

The next day, Sunday the “owner” Tricia Jordan dropped of the puppy at the company and said now I have to contact the company and work with them. I have called the company, they said I will have to send 500$ for them to be able to purchase the ticket for the puppy and make sure he arrives at my house ASAP. I sent them 250$ immediately and 250$ few hours after that. The following day Monday I received an email saying that the puppy due to being tested and discovered that he’s very week needs a special crate that is 650$ to rent it which would be completely refundable once the puppy arrives at my house. I was very hesitant to send the money, however I requested an additional email saying that the money would be returned to me. I did sent the money and the puppy was supposed to be at my house the same night. That didn’t happen, because my payment needed to be verified. Later on I received an email saying that my puppy needs a vaccine for stress cause by being far from home for a long time and also an insulin shot. I called the company again with my friend present in the same room at the time. They said I have to send the money ASAP, they said they would refund it when the puppy arrives. At that point I was panicky crying because I was so stressed about the situation and so scared the puppy would die. So after a long conversation and many promises that the puppy will arrive safe I sent another 550$, he was supposed to be put on a flight after one hour. I was promised an email with the exact flight hour I was up all night checking my email. I haven’t received nothing. This morning I called and spoke to the representative again and requested to know what was happening, the representative said he will look so I stayed on the phone for about three minutes and after that short wait he disconnected, I tried to call them back but my phone number was blocked by them. I was scammed for the amount of 1700$.

My father in law was contacted by email stating the scammer wanted to send him a pure English bulldog for free if he just sends them $500 through western union for delivering the puppy. I called the number they sent us and it didn’t seem legitimate so I looked them up on the BBB. After seeing they have scammed others we blocked their numbers and emails. Do not fall for anything that seems too good to be true.
