Type of a scam Online Purchase

The advertisement on my cell phone/internet stated that I could receive the products, Nuriva (skin serum) and Easy Health (eye cream) for free trial and a shipping fee of $4.95 each. The advertisement also led me to believe that these products were used by Christie Brinkley on the Dr. Oz show. However, I was not informed that after the trial period they would bill my account for $185.30 for both products. Also on my bank statement the debit section stated that this was a "recurring withdrawal debit card". I called the company and requested a refund. They stated that they could not refund my money because the product was opened. I informed them that the product burned my eyes and I could not use it. I reviewed their terms and conditions and under cancellation/refund it read "To cancel your order at any time (either before or after your trial period) if you are not satisfied with any product that you ordered up to 30 days after the order was placed. I placed the order on 9/22/16 and requested a refund on October 18, 2016. I was told that I would receive a cancellation notice. I never received one. I contacted my bank about the dispute and was told that I needed to cancel my current debit card and that they would send me a new one. I did that. When I looked up the company on the internet (after the fact) I saw a lot of reviews from people that stated this was a SCAM. Not only for this particular company, but many other skin care products.
