While job hunting on line, I often rec’d emails inviting me to become a secret shopper. i would delete them and move on with my job search. A few weeks ago my mail carrier knocks at my door with a priority mail envelope which requires my signature. Of course I think it is important. Checking the address (San Francisco, California 94104), I open it and to my surprise is a check(from TD BANK) made out to me for $1950.00. My instructions are to evaluate two vendors who process Money Gram and Western Union transactions. Guidelines: name and address of vendor,length of time transactions took,customer service eval,your impression and comparison between the two vendors. Send $820 to each($1640),$90 for fees,$20 to buy any item @ Walmart and $200 for my services.I had a 24 hour turn around time. I thought well good. NOT! I was fortunate the two vendors smelled a scam and did complete those transactions. Instead they called and questioned me and I was given new transaction numbers.. Well the emails from Ronald Anchor flooded my box, my cell phone had a continual flood of text. Meanwhile my bank had a charge back on my account because the ck did not clear.I was able to get the $1740 back to my bank and owe $210. I was fortunate. I went to the bank and the police once I came to my senses. Just remember You WILL NOT GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING! I considered myself pretty smart, even I got….Got. Beware.
