Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Received a time-sensitive letter after I just applied for LLC, it had my company name, address, doc number and asked to pay $67.25 for "certificate of status" I was about to write the check and wondering what it mean so I googled it. There’s a tiny print that said "this is not a government agency" then WHO am I paying and what for? The wording in the letter is very misleading. It stated, "A Florida certificate of status is issued by Secretary of State and may be required for loans, to renew business license, or for tax or other business purposes. Etc etc" implying, you need this to operate your business yet they are not part of the state government. Asking for personally information such as email, phone number, and to verifying the information they had already obtained. This is not only a scam utilizing the government title to imply the law and obtaining person information. Jibbing Florida resident and business owners. It’s sad that nothing has been done. If someone used my name to cheat someone else, I’ll be responsible for the damage, when they use the government, nothing happens. Wow!
