Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

Over the past two days, I have received calls from a number 817.786.9073 calling themselves, "Cash Advance". After speaking to agents 4 times asking them for the name of the company, finally one said the company he works for is "First American Cash Advance". Now ever caller had an Indian accent and each call receiv4ed came from the area code 817.

I advised I am on the US Do Not Call Registry and their call violated US law, especially since I have never done any business with these people before, they had no reason to call me (repeatedly). A representative did say, they did not have access to the US Do Not Call Register which leads me to believe they are not on US soil and do not care about US laws. I’m reporting them to the Attorney General’s office and the FCC, in concert with this notification on the BBB.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

They contacted me saying I was approved for a loan. Asked me to set up online banking information and required me to give them the information. They wire transferred me the money and wanted me to send it back. Once I get the money back to them they would then send me the loan money.
