I had received a response in my email which appeared to be for a work at home position in regards to my resume as a virtual assistant/logistics manager. Upon accepting to move forward I was contacted for a phone screen by [email protected] I also received sealed paperwork and the agreement to sign on to Finley Delivery Service as an independent contractor with several other documents to sign. There was training documents and material forward to me. After receiving and shipping 2 to 3 packages with their supplied shipping label and noticing their are different names on the packages sent to me and different names on the package labels provided. I researched the company a little more and see that this is really not an legitimate business and prompted them to not send me anymore packages and return the ones to sender that randomly kept getting sent to me. The address links back to being a law firm address…and the phone numbers to this day no one answers them.

Received call from a North Carolina number (910)378-4542 almost didn’t answer but because my parents live in North Carolina I did. The woman introduced herself Lorraine Martin and ask if I was still looking for work. I said I was and then she explained this great easy opportunity to just work from home just sending out packages and I would be paid through PayPal. I agreed because my social security number wasn’t involved. 2 packages arrived but something just didn’t seem right. Packages came in other person name but then when shipping label prints its going to a different name and address with the from with my name making me responsible for shipping. I immediately started research on company. Beware

This morning while checking my email, I came across an email that stood out because the subject line was in response to a position that I had applied for through one of the online job sites. I went through this same scam of employment promise that was a lie so I now conduct research before allowing myself to believe any offers are true. The name of the so-call manager, Lorraine Martin stood out in the return email. I completed the registration form before I actually visited this site so she should be calling me any minute now. The letter described the position as Logistics Assistant and described the responsibilities of the job. This just sounded too good to be true even though the pay offer would likely match that of a person who works that position on a real job. $750 a week, after probation, is the income promised. Be aware everyone! I am attaching a copy of the exact email that I received this morning.

delivery service of domestic mail.

basically had to receive items that other people order off of their website to my home.

then had to print off labels that they sent me to put on the boxes then take them to either the post office, fed ex or ups store.

3-5 items would be delivered to my house a week and I was then paid on PayPal after I sent out all the items. i made 300 working with them for 2 months. now the 3month everything about them seems fake. i cannot reach anyone and my account that they set up for me and gave me are now shut down.

I am an active job seeker and have signed up on several websites to receive job offers. Attached is a copy of the emails. As with every offer I checkout the company online. When I entered the company URL (https://finleysdelivery.com/) it brings up, what looks like a legitimate website. But, if you look up the address given it is different that what is shown under the contact Tab. Also if you look at the two emails the addresses are different also.

Next, the copyright date is fairly new: © Finley`s Delivery Service 2018

Further, the site it self is very simplistic and only has one phone number throughout.

Last, was the email that stated that I passed the phone interview and had two documents attached: contract and training material
