Type of a scam Government Grant
The individual identified himself as Michael Brown (red flag) and his extension number was 1027. He then gave me his address: 200 Independence S.W. Avenue Zip: 20201
He claimed that I was to receive $7000 in financial support without explaining to me how this came about. He wanted to know my age; I said that I’m over 20. He kept asking for my age, being adamant. I knew that he was a scam because why would anyone inquire about one’s age, except to use it and whatever information fraudulently.
