The “Federal Treasury” called me to offer me a grant of 15,000. There were many fees to pay before receiving the money . After the first transaction, I no longer felt comfortable . I requested my money back for the first part and they are trying to charge me again to even receive a refund .

I am reporting a scam robocall I received on my cell phone today. Caller said it was the Federal Treasury. Trying to reach me many times for delinquent taxes. Threaten serious criminal time. I called the number back. 843-401-5215. A man with an accent answered Federal Treasury. I said prove that you are the Federal Treasury. He said I don’t have to prove it. I said because it is a scam. He said yes and hung up.

Got a call asking for a family member (who is disabled) saying that he owed back taxes on land (that he does not own) and warning that lawful action would be taken against him if he was not willing to make a payment. The number is 202-622-3000, Washington, D.C.

Caller was foreign.

Guy called and said i qualify for government grant and said i only have to send 280 dollars for registration. Then they asked for 700 more when i said i didnt have it they bargained for three more hundred and then turned arround and asked for more!

When i asked them if theyre a scam they said they werent.
