I got a call and since I was looking for health insurance I went ahead and listened not giving anything but my age and state. He said he was a licensed insurance agent in Colorado and said that he would transfer me to a state verification number so I would know it was legitimate. I was concerned so kept asking questions as the quote sounded too good to be true. He said "have you not had to find insurance before…We have to have this information to process your application". Finally I asked for his license number and name and he disconnected the phone immediately.
