Type of a scam Debt Collections
I ignored a call from an unfamiliar number and received a voicemail from a recorded voice saying he was Officer Jody Wilson from the Federal Courthouse. It was full of bad grammar. The message indicated that there was suspicious activity with my SSN and claimed there was a lawsuit filed against me. There was also a statement that a non-bailable warrant has been filed against me. I was instructed to call 833-357-5092 for more information. "If you ignore this message, legal procedure will be initiative on you."
