Seller offered a purebred Samoyed puppy for $699 (which should have been our first red flag) that they would ship via United Airlines, and stopped responding to inquiries immediately after payment was sent via Zelle (from which there is no recourse to get our funds back). Seller was very communicative to that point, providing pictures of the mother and father as well as answering all questions we had. Seemed very legit — website was well-done, ‘contract’ was in place and emails were very detailed. Became suspicious after seller’s non-response and we found another website for the same seller for bulldogs — dreambulldogs.com — which had the exact layout as familysamoyeds.com as well as the same testimonials from the same people with the verbiage from each changed.
