Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

Hi,

I was recently contacted by someone pretending to be Steven Nickell, the recent lottery winner of ($150.4M) This person insisted that I would receive $1 million dollars because I was chosen through a Google Data Search… Something of that sort. I knew it was too good to be true, but I went along with it just to see what type of information I would have to give out. I receive another e-mail asking for my address, name, nationality & race. I sent the info & that was it!

I just checked my e-mail yet again & I have some information for you guys: Kenya Financial Security Act requires international beneficiaries like you too open an offshore account with the payout bank, which will be responsible for clearing the cheque (check) in Kenya before the funds can be transferred to your designed bank account anywhere in the world, I have therefore included a Donation Reference Number to this message (SNDM/231/20188DB) which should be kept strictly confidential as you will use it in receiving your donation.

You are to contact the management of KCB Bank Kenya, immediately as they have been authorized to clear the check and wire the funds to you after you must have opened an account with them and concluded all modalities associated with the wire transfer process.

Bank Name: KCB Bank Kenya

Officer Name: Kevin Holland

Email: [email protected]

Email:[email protected]

Telephone:+254 778 891 4816

It also stated for me not to be a skeptic, but I mean come on. An offshore account? This is definitely a scam & I had to let you guys know so that others could be safe.

Thank You
