My friend’s Facebook account was hackd, but I didn’t know it. She contacted me through Messenger. She asked how I was feeling, and she said she was great, that she had gotten a refund frm the Fedral Reserve. She asked if I had heard about it. She said I’ll send you the link. I went to the link, and an agent came on. Th.e agent, Jamez Raphale, asked for my names, address, profession, cell phone provider. He said I qualify for $100,000 and has since September, and asked why I had’t claimd it yet. He said the only thing I need to do is pay $750 in taxes before FedEx could deliver it. He said because it’s important not to provide personally identifiable information, I could pay with an eBay gift card. He told me to go to Walgreens or CVS and asked if there is one close. Yesterday, I drove to Walgreens at Lancaster and Sunnyview Rd, Salem, OR. The clerk told me that I could only get $750, and I said that is all I need. I went back to my car, and scratched off the security number and took a picture of it and a copy of my receipt which had my debit card number on it. I sent it thru Messenger. Then he IM’d me saying give me a few minutes. I asked if I could go home. When I got home, I called my friend, and she said that she hadn’t contacted me. I called my bank. That money was earmarked for my car payment and phone bill.
