This company uses a pop-up claiming that there is an attack on your computer and that you must call them to resolve the problem. The pop-up freezes your computer browser. The pop-up looks like it comes from the computer and appears official. When you call the phone number in the pop-up the "tech support" person talks you through exiting your browser and says they need to access your computer to fix the problem. Once you give them access they let you know that it will cot $149 to fix the problem and the send you to Ezoomtechnology.com to make payment. This company has no connection to Apple or Microsoft and there is nothing wrong with the computer. They are using the pop-up to simulate a problem and scam you into paying for an unneeded service.
