I was contacted by email stating that I had defaulted on a payday loan and a court case had been filed against me. They provided me with a social security number that did not match my own, and the loan was taken out in a state I have never been to.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

Received an email form EZ MONEY LOANS INC. stating that I owe them from a payday loan I signed for on July 31, 2015 and if I didn’t make arrangements to pay it back they have already filed the necessary papers with the the Superior Court of Ca county of Los Angeles Court House. I have never got any loan with them and I noticed in the email they listed my previous address and social security. In the email I was told that they would be contacting the social security office and my current employer to begin wage garnishments.
