Type of a scam Moving

First contact was with a person named Kyle who stated a quote of $2200 for a 20 feet truck and movers picking up my belongings and leaving that same day to **** After the original call he called to confirm my inventory list and increased the quote to 2700 after I added 4 items. We negotiate a total price at $2600 still for a 20 ft leaving pick up date (8/26/20) to ****with a deposit of 1000.00 and a balance of 821.00. When the mover got there the 20 foot truck was already over half full with someone else stuff and the mover informed us the (3) movers were not going to continue to ****that day. They rambled through a contracted mentioning addition square cubic foot and addition fee. I asked if my belongings would fit without any addition fee and was told yes. After they loaded my belongings I was given the total of 6574.13 with 2735.13 due immediately and 2735.13 due at drop off. Needless to say I did not have the money as I was given the balance of 821.00. After making several stressful calls we were able to get the money. Our belongings were delivered on 9/3/20 by a completely different independed mover who stated he bid on our truck load and would be unload the truck himself. The whole ordeal was very stressful, deceiving, costly, undermined and just wrong!! I wish to avoid anyone else having to go though what my family and I did.
