Type of a scam Online Purchase

I bought a kitten from someone named Tyler Cruse(probably fake name). The website is fluffymunchkins.com. I used ZELLE and Venmo to send cash. 780 dollars.

Later in the afternoon I received an e-mail from expressfreightshippers.com informing me that due to kittens age I would need to send her in an air conditioned crate. 2000.00 I texted them at 1-231-403-1630. The guy James Martin ( probably fake)told me

that upon delivery, on the spot, I would be reimbursed 98% of the 2000. I cannot tell you why the hell I did it. I sent the 2000 on top of the 780.

At any rate, James sent a text saying kitty was on her way the next morning.

Then around 4:00 I received a text telling me to check Venmo as my 2000 was being refunded. I’m breathing better now as you can imagine.

Well, I go to Venmo and there is no refund. I text him that. He texts back, there has been a delay do not panic, remain calm.

In the meantime, my son calls the so called breeder and tells him I would like to purchase Comfort. She’s the kitten I bought.

Tyler( so called breeder) says ok.

They talk a bit longer. Tyler tells my son he’s made 10 k today. ***** tells Tyler I know this is a scam cause you supposedly sold the cat to my mom and I’ve recorded this conversation.

Tyler then called my son a -igger and hung up on him.

In the meantime I texted and tried to call the fake shipping company (I don’t know why I bothered). James did not pick up the phone or text back.

James sent me a tracking number and an itinerary complete with what was in the package, status, type of shipment, weight, product , expected delivery,

Payment mode.

Needless to say, the kitty did not arrive.
