On May 9 2020 I visited their website: exoticparrotsandeggs.com and then called the phone number listed upper right corner. A man with an accent discussed what they had available. Payment he recommended was ZELLE payment of $450 which included a $70 overnight service. Then began to text to confirm my name,address and email. Then told me he’d text me the tracking information and to watch for e-mail for tracking.

I did receive an eMail from [email protected] (707) 277-1696 in which did send me tracking THEN next morning listed my parrot on “HOLD” that where they wanted to confirm additional $920. for pet insurance for hold release. Stating $920 would be refundable. I didn’t have that amount, the SELLER then communicated he would pay the diffence if I would send what I got. I again refused and asked for a refund. His communication stopped. However the transport individual continued to try to get me to agree to pay. Once I did check Exotic parrots and eggs reviews I see a scam report ***** **** ***** *** * *** ****** ** *** *****

A man with an accent who identified himself as Charles Weber discussed what they had available. Payment he recommended was ZELLE payment of $480 which included a $70 overnight service. Then began to text to confirm my name,address and email. Then told me he’d text me the tracking information and to watch for e-mail for tracking.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I went to the website exoticparrotsandeggs.Com to purchase a parrot.I found one I was interested in and proceeded to call the phone number on the website. I spoke with a gentleman about the bird and the process for a few hours the man seemed honest and the site seem legit.he asked me to zelle pay him the money for the purchase of the bird and he would ship the bird the same day with a tracking number. I sent the money via zelle pay through Chase Bank the payment was confirmed and the man immediately afterward started talkin about needing more money for a crate rental fee. He said he initially forgot to mention this fee. Filling a scammed already I refuse to send him any more money. Needless to say I never got my money back or a bird.
