Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Received a spammy pink piece of mail addressed to husband and wife for an "extended warranty" warning on vehicle.

* Vehicle was (actually) in wife’s name ONLY. Sexist spammy scam is the best.

* Alleged warranty was about to run out based on mileage of vehicle on record – car was TOTALED in a snow storm 4 months prior with less than 3,000 miles on it. (Hurray for the bleepity bleep who thought he could beat the light.)

* Mail was received with close enough date to make less discerning person question if they were running out of time/creating an augmented sense of urgency on the spam/scam. Time stamped notice of almost 30 days prior – mail out date on envelope tells another story.

* Quick online check of name and address of company shows little information/no official listings/red flags of scam.
