I also ordered online on March 9th (at 11:49PM), after seeing it would cost me 4.95 CDN and received the product after 7 days. The charge on my cr card was 7.19. Not sure, if advertised CDN charges, why it was converted to US. I didn’t even try it and on March 26th I had a $144.79 charge. When I called they said they would cancel but no mention of reversing charge. I call back and was told it was a legit charge as I didn’t cancel within the 14 day time frame. I tried to explain the dates that had past but the rep was very rude to me and said “Where do we say it’s within the time even if it was order so late on the 9th? So I said “You are charging me for a product I don’t receive?” After calling several times, another rep, also very rude, said “It’s a free trail and you didn’t cancel on time! That’s what FREE means!” Didn’t get my money back because I did not pursue with my credit card company. Very bad experience and I’m so glad it’s come out for all to see and be aware of the [censored]. I can not believe that it was endorsed my Lion’s Den (I think that was it). Thank you BBB for this website.

Beware of any trials sent by the name of shoppers drug mart. I got email from Shoppers to do survey and then they said I am eligible for free ENVy Is moisturizer and serum. I thought it’s real as I am regular customer of shoppers and always get emails of their deals. This is my life so first worst and terrible experience. They asked for payment for shipping and paid from my credit card my biggest mistake ever. Then I got super busy for 2 months in home renovation project and never paid attention to credit card history thinking that I am not doing any shopping these days. By the time I checked my credit card history I was scammed 540 Canadian dollar. Can’t tell how I am feeling. Calling them back and forth. Let’s see if my credit card people will help or not.

Julie – Sep 24, 2020

Completed a Shopper’s Drug Mart survey; an offer of FREE moisturizer was made, all I needed to do was pay the shipping. So I did. I’ve now been charged over $132.00 CDN twice, plus the one shipping charge, and received two shipments of the product. So I was charged full price for each one. Nothing free. It looks like they intend to keep shipping and charging. I’ve put my credit card on hold, but will likely have to change all sorts of legitimate pre–authorized billing now if I cancel the card altogether. I would love to know how to talk to this company directly. The charges are under the name Lewisleskin. I can’t find too much on them. If anyone has a number, can you please reply!

They offered a free envy moisturizer & syrum sample and ask me to pay the shipping fee. They charge me twice on my credit card for the shipping fee and after 15 days they charge me agiain for $134.65 & 137.58. When I phone them they told me that I didn’t cancel the product promotion within the15 days trial period that’s why they charged me for the products that I received. When I beg for a canellation & refund they just returned less than $ 200 into my account.

Grace – Sep 24, 2020

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. Charge was under the name of Lewisleskin. Same for you? I can’t locate a phone number for them, would you mind telling me what it is?

I saw it advertise for Canadian Tire for $4.95 shipping for a trial size, so I ordered it. Received the trial size then was charged $7.19 Canadian twice, I called and they refund me $7.19. After a month I received a moisturizer, I called the company saying I did not order this product, they told me I did not cancel after I received the free trial but I can return the product. I had to take a taxi which cost me $9.00 both ways and $11.33 to sent it back by Canada Post because I take care of my 90 year old mother and did not want to take public transit. Received my credit card bill and was charged $143.92 and $141.10. I called several times but they keep telling me I received 2 products. The .5oz of serum cost me $285.02 which I cannot afford, I hope this company goes out of business for scamming people.

Was sent several E-mails saying if you take survey for shoppers drug mart you get a free gift, did survey and then said one of the gifts was there cream only had to pay shipping and handling charge of 6dollars and change so thought ok I would try. Next thing I knew they charged my credit card over $136.00 dollars
Tried calling and the lady had all kind of BS about the product .

DO NOT DO ANY SURVEYS OR ANY THING COMPANY BIG SCAM!

I saw an advertisement for this product that I’d heard about and wanted to try it for free with the $4.95 shipping fee.

BUT…after I’d entered my credit card number, that company declined my order…BUT…..they’d already charged my credit card, TWICE under Two different company names!!!

I had to call my credit card company and put a stop through and cancel my card because it was compromised!

In good faith I ordered a product that I thought was legitimate, but instead got my credit card compromised and TWO charges put onto my account instead of the one they were supposed to charge.

Since then I’ve also found out that there’s a monthly “subscription” for the product….BUT….there was NOTHING STATING THIS PLUS NO COSTS STATED EITHER!

This company sent me an email claiming to be walmart and offering me a gift for being a valued customer. I was asked to pay shipping and handling for my gift. I was an [censored] and fell for it. They have now charged my account numerous times, over 300$ in total.

Stay away from these people, they are professional con artists. First they will add another item for which you will see an additional UPS charge come out of your account. I called to enquire and was told that they could not refund the second charge by UPS…who I believe is also in on the scam. So after cancelling my account I notice a significant amount of money come out of my account again so I decided to call them back. I was told that I only cancelled the second product that I didn’t order. I truly hope that you all burn in hell for taking advantage of people during this pandemic…shame

Via email, I was offered a ‘trial size’ of skin cream and eye cream. On April 10/20, I ordered both and paid (4.95 US each), 7.12 each Canadian. Noticed on April 22/20, I was billed (99.95 US), 145.45 Canadian on my Credit card, and called number listed on credit card statement. No additional product was received to warrant this additional charge. One phone number on my bank statement is no longer in service, but I reached a customer service centre in California – company would not issue a credit to me.

The company waited until my next credit card statement – April 28/20 to charge me (97.99 US), 140.55 Canadian. Again no additional product received.

My Bank knew this company, and said blocking this company would do no good, as they use a different name and phone number for each transaction. (ie, Cohenskin Care, Regimbal Health, Stephcream) My Bank said this company utilized the ‘default to automatically renew’ by accepting to pay for trial sizes.

I have managed to get a credit for the first charge (145.45), but they will not credit me for the April 28/20 charge.

Again, I paid for and received the trial sizes, but no other product received.

Many thanks for looking into this.

I bought this facial cream online from Envy Us then after I received the products, the company collected money from my debit account once. Changed my card then the company collected again after changing the card. This company is a very smart hacker!

I responded to a web add in Feb. for a free trial sample of Envy Us. To get the free sample I agreed to pay for the shipping cost. I did not subscribe to receive any products. In reviewing my credit card statement I discovered I was charged 3 times on my credit card by Cohenskincare in the amount of 137.93, 135.04, and 140.64. My credit card company is trying to recover these charges. I did not receive any products.

Hello,

I answered an email survey with the subject line being "We have a surprise f0r AirCanada Users" Email:[email protected] At the end of the survey I was offered a variety of free gifts for answering the survey. Only 4.95 shipping. Since it is passing itself off as a Canadian Company I expected a charge of 4.95$ Instead I was charged TWICE 6.70$ from 2 different companies.. Then I was charged by a company called COHENSKINCARE.COM. I was told that my prize was a subscription to this product instead of what twas suppose to be FREE. I have all the evidence that I will attach. They really prey on people. That was my grocery money.

Envy us advises their face cream is a successful pitch on Dragon’s Den TV show. I ordered trial product on Oct 22,2019, had to give credit card info. for shipping fee. In the next two months, they charged my credit card total of $537.11 without my consent and knowledge. On their online purchase, there was no where mentioned any membership or monthly occurring charge, or the selling price of the product (in fact they charged $97.99USD & $99.95USD per item every month) or return /cancellation policy and time frame. Not mentioned price is US dollar. There was no condition or terms, or consent clause. I was never engaged this purchase. This is totally scam, a fraud!

Their products do not look like legitimate, made from manufacturer, more like something home made. The label was poorly printed on regular plain paper, prints are blurry. This business is completely scammer, has the purpose of collecting credit card info, cheating people for money. They have way too many websites online, and have no address or company information on products, packaging, and websites. There is no address to send back, and they refused to refund the money they charged me and I never authorized to pay by my credit card.

Saw this product being pitched to the Dragon Den TV Show, found the web site promoting a trial offer to Canadian Residents

Web site made no mention of charges for the product or ongoing charges, just had to pay shipping for trial product.

no mention product trail was only for a specific period of time and that you had to cancel to before that period was up

in order to avoid ongoing monthly charges. You had to open the terms and conditions link at end of web page to learn this. Also web site did not note charges were in US $
