Type of a scam Phishing

Called my place of work and identified himself as Sean Barry. Asked to confirm my DOB when I told him no and why he was calling he said he couldn’t go into detail until her confirmed my DOB and last four of my social. He referred to me by my maiden name and not marital name. Claimed he had my cell phone number and mailing address and had been attempting to contact me but wouldn’t confirm it with me. I told him not to contact me at my place of work and he kept asking for my cell phone number to contact me there but he had already claimed to have it. Next time they call I will get more info and SUE!
