Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted by this number with the area code from Texas stating that I have been hired for a job via indeed about my resume. I fell for it by giving my name… street address and phone number via email..I noticed it was a scam when I was offered $600 for pay…then I was told I would receive a check in a few days to buy things for a charity. Also I was going to be on a 2 week trial until Linda would meet me when she came back from Canada. I quickly stopped responding and told them this was scam and to quit contacting me.
