User (Elizabeth Diane Reed) posted a house that she was renting and asked for advance payments equal to 3 months rent and deposit to secure the place. I paid this amount and then she stopped responding. I never got to rent from her and I learned she never owned the house she was renting. Oakland police is aware of this and they informed me that she has scammed many people using similar methods in the past. The case is still in court. Email she uses for the scam is [email protected]
