I learned about eggplant mail when searching for funny gag gifts to send a friend. There were lots of pictures on the website of people receiving their eggplants and the website offered apple pay, which is usually a sign of an active business.
However, when I did not receive shipping information within two weeks, I reached out via email to ask if my gift was likely to arrive before Christmas. The email bounced back as undeliverable.
The website also listed Instagram and Facebook pages as methods of contact, but no phone number. I looked on both social media sites and neither account has been active in over a year. I still sent messages, but I am losing hope that this company is still open, and wondering if it ever was a legitimate business.

I order their product in September to send to my friend and they sent me a confirmation email right afterwards. Also, a couple days later the total for the purchase was taken out of my account. After a month of not getting an email that the product shipped like they said they would. I decided that I would email them, I got a response saying they were sorry about it and that they would ship it out "ASAP". Three months later I still haven’t got the product and looking at their instagram account many others have said that they were not receiving anything either. I tried to report them on instagram but the account is still active.

They advertise sending eggplants with messages to people of your choosing but they never ship them out and do not respond to any sort of correspondence. I ordered in early September and it is now December and have emailed and messaged them a number of times. Many people on social media also saying they never received anything. I have not seen one case of someone saying they received their eggplant except for the "company’s" own social media videos/pictures.
