Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

Was contacted by a potential client for a catered event. This was for a small group of people and the scammer wanted 2 put an extra $5,000 on to the invoice and once it cleared my bank account he would like the cash back from that to give to his party planner. The scammer had terrible grammar and was using phones that were disconnected or you could not call back on. Very persistent about receiving an invoice and what merchant services my company used.
