Type of a scam Employment

So I applied at this job posting through Indeed.com which is a site I always use to apply for jobs. I came across this E Smart Solar job and applied for it. They sent me and email regarding an opportunity to interview via hangouts. Now I’ve had interviews with other jobs before through Skype and Hangouts before and nothing really got suspicious. But then they had me answering yes or no answers, wasn’t very talkative other than "Thats understandable" and what not. I passed the interview and they sent me all of the "work paperwork" the W4, I9 and signature paper work for the job letter.

Then they told me they were going to send me a check for a certain amount to be able to buy all the programs necessary to be a data entry representative.

I just took the check to my bank to see if it was a fraudulent check or not. No surprise to me it was.

I think I’m going to go to make it a career to catch these scammers. I am straight tired of people taking advantage of good people looking for real jobs!
