Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

This company keeps changing its name to collect money I did not request at all. The emails come from [email protected]

This is what they sent recently:

Dear *** *** (Account No: ***.)

We are sending this letter in regards of your overdue balance and we would request you to pay immediate attention in response to this email. This is to inform you that your delinquent account is now 480 days PAST DUE for INVOICE No:NH 7015.

According to our records, your account balance is more than 480 days old and holds an outstanding amount of $1224.00. Despite sending you several reminders, we have received no response from you about your seriously past due account.

Therefore, we feel there is no recourse but to put your account in the hands of our law office which will affect your credit rating. We may also report this to the I.R.S. as "bad debt loss" with form 1099-C if payment is not received.

Please reply us back as soon as possible, so that we may both avoid further proceedings and your credit rating may not be affected in judicial process. If you have any questions, feel free to reply as well as if you think you want set up a repayment plan, please give us a quick response.
