Type of a scam Online Purchase
Found a dog on craigslist being sold. Payment was made through the CashApp and the person sent tracking information for the carrier through email. Hours later we saw that the shipment was being held in Phoenix and when we contacted the carrier they requested $800 "refundable upon delivery" for a special AC crate for the dog. When I called to speak to them it was a Google Voice number, no address on the website, and the person we purchased through was also a Google Voice. When I tried to contact the Seller they called back and it was the exact same person I spoke to for the Shipper minutes before. The Shipper Agent was an Asian Male and the Seller was supposed to be a White Female.
